How does the AI know what a figure would say?+
Each figure is built from their writings, speeches, biographies, and the work of historians who studied them. The AI draws on this material to respond in their voice and perspective. It does not invent facts about their lives, but conversational responses are interpretations, not direct quotes.
How many figures are there?+
More than 300 today, with new figures added regularly. The library spans the arts, sciences, philosophy, politics, and business across every era.
Is it accurate?+
We work hard on it, but AI-generated conversations are interpretations and may contain errors. Histou is for learning and reflection, not as a citation source for academic work. Biographies and quotes are curated; live conversations are generated.
How much does it cost?+
Histou is free to download with limited daily interactions. The full experience, including unlimited conversations, the complete audio library, and voice calls, is available via auto-renewing subscription, managed through your Apple ID. Current pricing is shown in the app at the time of purchase.
